Hama'abada presents: Bill T Jones | Solo
The screening of a film featuring 3 solo dances by Bill T Jones, as well as a documentary film showing the work process of the known choreographer.
Soon after a Q&A will be held with Bill T Jones and the dancers, hosted by Alice Dor Cohen.
Bill T Jones, one of the important people in the international dance world, and his band return to the Israel to be part of Dance in the Residence and the Israel Festival. This year, the band celebrates 25 years of creating, and has become one of the outstanding Modern-American dance groups. Bill T Jones creates outside the band as well, and in the year 2009 he directed and created the choreography for the musical "Fella", one of the successful musicals on Broadway which displays the life of the musician Fella Conty. Two years ago, Bill created the choreography for the musical "Spring Awakening" , for which he won a Tony award. At the same time, Jones continues to create fascinating pieces with theatrical touches, along with his talented dancers.
